
LoanBright, a mortgage lead generation company, provides online delivery of mortgage leads to their clients on a subscription basis. When they wanted to expand their products to include a more flexible offering, they hired Inside Edge Software to work with them to develop the application.
The team worked together to design the new offering, working through design and development iterations quickly to get new features working. The site was expanded in each successive iteration and features were refined until the team was happy with the result. This approach enabled the client to evaluate the site in an interactive manner and refine based on using the site in the medium.
LoanBright customers can now configure how they would like to receive their leads and have expanded online functionality. The new features give customers a reason to regularly return to the LoanBright site, which helps to renew customer affiliation.
To make the application responsive and give it a contemporary feel, AJAX technology was employed. This enabled the user-interface to be responsive while handling relatively large sets of data.
To support the new product offering the customer service application was also updated as part of the project. The client and customer service applications share common components, which helped with rapid development and keeping costs to a minimum. Sharing software components between the applications ensure consistency and will help speed future development.
